Lindsay McNamara has been birding since she was nine years old when she saw her first Great Blue Heron along a New Jersey river. At that time, her parents gifted her the National Audubon Society First Field Guide: Birds. Today, 20 years later, Lindsay serves as National Audubon Society’s Mid-Level Giving Manager. She’s worked as a communications and outreach specialist in the environmental nonprofit and higher education sectors for nearly a decade. Lindsay holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Delaware and an M.A. in Public and Organizational Relations from Montclair State University.
